My Results for bag weights before and after 24 hours in the cup

Conclusions:

     -More starch went into and out of the bag than water went out of and into the bag.

     -More protein entered the bag than water left.

     -More water left the bag than dextrose entered.

Observations:

-       most bags in water have masses that go up

          -water got into bags making the mass go up

          -except for the bag of starch whose mass went down; the starch escaped from the bag

      -       all of the bags OF water lost mass overnight

          What Happened: Ideas

               - Starch didn't leak into water, but water had to have leaked into the bag (weight increase)

               -Protein didn't leak into water, but water had to have leaked into the bag (weight increase)

               -Simple Sugar leaked into water (water tested positive for Benedict; weight decrease), and water had to have leaked into the bag (weight increase)
