CONCLUSIONS:

The glucose bag released glucose into the water, but it took in more water than it released. glucose.  We know this because even though the surrounding water tested positive for glucose, the bag weighed 1.1 grams heavier than before it went in the water.

The starch bag did not take in water or release starch.  We know this because the biuret test came back negative and the mass of the bag weighed the same amount.

The protein bag did not release protein but took in 0.5 grams of water.   It's IKI test was negative, so it didn't diffuse, but rather it took in water, leaving it with the higher mass of 9.1 grams.
